When we want to go from a light brown to a dark blonde, then we have to reduce the color by two tones. Therefore, since the step from one tone to the other is short, it is not advisable to bleach, but to use 30 volumes.

Of course, it all depends on the base you start from. The darker the starting color, the more volume you should choose.
